Warri art is a Caribbean Inspired art gallery filled with Mocko Jumbie dolls and paintings that captures the tropical
hues of the Island's vivid landscapes, culture and the people.
Mocko Jumbie
origins are deeply embedded in the traditions of West Africa. They balance on stilts as high as 10 t0 20 feet and acted as
the spiritual seers or protectors of their villages. Mocko Jumbies remained anonymous by wearing masks and covering their
body in brightly colored clothing. Today it can be considered the traditional symbol of carnival in the Caribbean.
